The Wheels Page One

            Wow I finally got them in... But wait one is scratched. I should have known, well Brian is sending me a new wheel; again I hope it matches this time. Man I just want to get this over with. Wll here are some pics for thought...

 

        You may have noticed the diffrence in colours in the last three pics. Well thats about the only reason I was going after the Hyperblack;  the angle and the light determins the colour of the wheel, but as you can tell from the same angle or stright on they are almost identical. We will ahve to see if this is what I am really looking for, if not they will be recoated when I respray the car.

Well I got the replacement in today... guess what... It’s wrong, go figure; this is the 4th shipment and they still have not gotten it right. Come on guys its only four little wheels, it can’t really be that hard. Can it??  Well this time it was a 48jj instead of a 40jj wheel. The box was marked correctly so it’s like damn man its going on an MR2 not a HONDA!!! Bad ‘nuff I need 5mm spacers to make them look remotely right in the front.

Wow that was fast; today at three PM I received the replacement... and it right! Finally I have all four wheels; 7+ months later, hundreds of phone calls totaling in the thousands of minutes I have a SET!! Well now all I am waiting on is the refund or the Falken Azenis RT-615s; Lol Lets see how long this takes. Oh well here go some teaser pics… I cant wait to get her on the road again………………

 

I still think the front needs to be lower and further out, but for now im happy.

UPDATE:  Well now Richey his telling me that they are moving buildings and that’s why I have not been able to get in touch with him… so I need to relax and he’s going to take care of me.. Ill like to see it when it happens!!! But he asked me to give him 2 weeks to get things straight out there and call back.

 5\20\2005 well two days ago I got off the phone with some new guy over at Wheeldiscount … another manager think his name was Yuno or something like but he said he was going to get to the bottom of my issue and have it solved by the end of the day. LOL well that was 2 days ago and now I cant get a hold of him either.
