I will do a real write up a little later that’s more complete but here is what I posted for the community to see:
“(Originally posted by monopolizedinc) I have received and mounted the bumper on the car this weekend; overall I rate it as ok. None of the 3 "brackets" off the factory bumper fit into the bumper I received the long bracket with the studs on the front I had to remove 3/8" off the top to get it under the lip of the bumper. As for the two top side brackets there is a lot of free form glass in there and I didn’t feel like trying to clean it up enough to fit it into such a tight spot, they also slant forward a little so if I did get them in there and tightened it down they would probably crack. Fitment of the lights is the same as I read about the border bumpers ... as tight and do not curve properly but can be worked out. With the added fin in the middle it has a nice bow to it and I'm hoping that I can straighten it out w/o having to remove it completely. I thought the bumper was rather ridged, less the very top inside the 2 lines or the very middle (if you follow that) that area was also very wavy so I will have to see what can be done with that and some reinforcement. So again I rate it as ok and still plan on the sides."
And the pics you have been asking for:
Just a note about the paint job: this was done on the car with newspaper, no tape, no primer and no prep work in my back yard after I gave her a bath. I hit it with about four little cans of spray-paint just so I could get the idea of the finished product. Right now I am waiting on the Rev 2 bumper to show up along with the side skirts. I hope that the rear bumper will be done around the time I am ready to put this thing into paint so it can all get done at the same time.
Lol oh ya you can see the silhouette of the grass on the bottom such a ill effect y0 lol
